Episode 6 features legendary Blue Bombers running back, Willard Reaves!

Willard Reaves spent time with the Green Bay Packers, Washington Redskins and Miami Dolphins, but the most memorable stretch of his career came with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Reaves suited up for the Blue and Gold from 1983-1987. In his five seasons with the team, he led the CFL in rushing three times, was named a CFL All-Star on four occasions, won the Most Outstanding Player Award in 1984 and helped the team win the 84 Grey Cup over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

On this episode, we talked about his time in the NFL, playing for legendary coaches such as Bart Starr, Joe Gibbs and Don Shula, his first impression of the CFL and Winnipeg, ending the 22-year Grey Cup drought, why he didn’t want to play professional football, being recruited by Cris Carter and Reggie White to play for the Philadelphia Eagles, following his son’s NHL career and much more!
